Senior Software Engineer

Position Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be a technical leader shaping how Ohanafy builds its core platform across Salesforce and AWS. You'll own architectural decisions, drive our AI and agentic development strategy, and define how we leverage a multi-cloud approach to solve customer problems in ways the beverage industry hasn't seen before. You'll partner directly with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to turn market needs into scalable solutions. We're looking for someone who doesn't wait to be told what to build. Someone who sees the opportunity in edge technologies, AI-assisted development, and agentic workflows and moves the team toward it. This role carries real influence over the technical direction of a product that beverage companies across the country rely on every day.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years' professional engineering experience
• Deep proficiency in Apex and JavaScript/TypeScript, with a track record of building and shipping modern UI components (e.g., Lightning Web Components, React, or similar)
• Strong command of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and system design fundamentals
• Proven ability to own technical architecture decisions, evaluating trade-offs, choosing approaches, and standing behind them
• Deep technical curiosity that extends beyond your immediate stack. Uou explore how things work under the hood and bring that knowledge back to the team
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, GitHub Copilot) and a point of view on how they should be integrated into engineering workflows
• Experience with version control (Git), branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows
• Thrives in a fast-moving startup where priorities shift, ambiguity is the norm, and you're expected to lead through it
• Strong communicator who can partner effectively with Product, Sales, and Customer Success leadership to shape roadmap and priorities

Responsibilities

• Ship features that real beverage companies depend on daily, building on Salesforce with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and modern JavaScript
• Own the full lifecycle of features. From ideation and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
• Drive the team's AI and agentic development strategy, evaluate tools, define patterns, and set the standard for how AI accelerates our engineering workflows
• Architect and prototype agentic AI capabilities that enhance the Ohanafy platform and customer experience
• Design and champion automated testing practices (unit, integration) that give the team confidence to ship fast
• Lead code reviews and design sessions and raise the bar on quality while helping others grow
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and CS to translate customer and market feedback into technical direction
• Contribute to and improve technical documentation, architecture decision records, and engineering standards
• Deepen your expertise in the Salesforce platform, the Ohanafy Beverage Operating System, and the beverage industry

Desired

• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software in a production environment
• Experience building or integrating AI-powered product features, or working directly with LLM APIs and agentic AI workflows
• Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudWatch) or other major cloud platforms
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps patterns (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, automated deployment workflows)
• Track record of establishing or improving automated testing culture on an engineering team
• Agile software development experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
• Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
