POSITION SUMMARY
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll help further Ohanafy’s mission to transform the beverage industry by finding potential customers and starting new relationships with interested clients, thus expanding our customer base. We seek an individual with a go-getter attitude who can learn to achieve assigned KPIs and metrics that support overall sales goals and objectives. This position is open to remote applicants with some travel required to our HQ in Wilmington, NC and occasional conferences.

Requirements
REQUIRED
- 3 years of business development experience
- Successful track record in a similar role
- Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills
- Good time management and analytical skills
- Good telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills
- Sound judgment, detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work outside of standard business hours as necessary
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate and qualify new leads
- Meet and exceed activity goals
- Initiate contact with potential customers through cold-calling, emailing, social media, or responding to inquiries
- Create relationships with customers and identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales
- Move leads through the sales funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging demos
- Follow up with potential prospects who’ve expressed interest
- Perform regular follow-up calls or emails to facilitate communication
- Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure company's goals and targets are met
- Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM, Salesforce)
DESIRED
- A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software preferred
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with others in a professional and respectful manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
